Power is lost when heat is produced. Adding boost to your supercharged '03-04 Cobra also adds power killing heat. The stock intercooler heat exchanger becomes less and less effective in keeping intercooler fluid temps in check. Adding a SFPH Ultimate Performance Intercooler Heat Exchanger will increase fluid capacity and drop fluid temperatures a consistent 35 degrees (approx.). This significantly aids in the prevention of heat soak.
Built with an all-aluminum tig welded lightweight construction, our SFPH unit is more than twice the core size of the stock heat exchanger, 16 fins per inch and much larger holding tanks for maximum airflow and cooling. Furnace brazed eliminates any and all sealing problems. SFPH - Ultimate Intercooler Heat Exchanger installation requires basic hand tools and is the only heat exchanger on the market that does not require any cutting or modifications to vehicle to install. Includes all necessary hardware and 1/2" NPT fitting for drain back. |
